Math Tutoring

Math has an uncanny way of instilling equal parts wonder and terror in students. It’s a system that underpins the mysteries of the universe (and, closer to home, may get you a job), but math education sometimes gets a bit lost in its own abstraction and can lose sight of its audience. In other words: math is wonderful, and fundamental, but you’ll need to understand it if you’re going to use it!

Merv Academic’s philosophy is to make math accessible, interesting, and usable by focusing not only on core skills but also on critical and creative thinking and real world applications. I’ll work with you to help you see the value in math and to feel more comfortable with it, and not just for your upcoming test!
